Where do I plug in a OBDII scaner?

Just like the title states where is the OBDII plug located?

Haven't they been in the same spot on every BMW for as long as they've existed?

Actually no some of the older models including early 2000 models had a round diagnostic conector that is located some where else I belive

the round connector is in the engine bay somewhere.
