2008 Evolution X GSR non-SSS, silver, 14,000 miles as of 2/26/2010

New tires all around - 3,000 miles. The stock Evo Xs come with Advan A13C tires...they run outta life around 10-11,000 miles

The factory hood latch relay, fuel line recalls were done. The fuel pump relay was replaced.

Mods:
Prosport Boost Gauge
Tinted windows all around
Eibach Lowering Springs
HID kit and Daytime Running Lights disabled
Custom ECU tune by Looney Tuning (made 50whp peak)

I have owned an Evolution IX before so this car was well taken care of. The break in was done properly and every 3000 miles Mobil Synthetic Oil as well as OEM oil filter was used to change the oil.

I NEVER launch my AWD cars...have never done it with my IX, STi swapped Subaru, or my X.

I've always been curious, is that blackout on the lower front grille (black area that goes all the way down to the front lip) a factory option? I see a handful of Evos that have that and some that don't.

The evos that don't go all the way down have the areo lip.
I personally like the car best with no factory body add-ons.
