Intake void warranty??

I was wondering like many outhere: will my afe intake void my warranty if I go for service????

A guy who used to post here, deltaBMW, had just this happen. They suspected him of doing other mods, but the only thing they could confirm was his intake. Warranty voided. He drives an IS350 now.

BTW- unless you're running lots of other mods, a modified intake won't get you anything besides more dirt in your engine.

By the way- they PROBABLY won't void your warranty with just an intake, but they can. Since it won't get you anything but a little sound unless you're heavily modded, just leave it stock.
