NOT A CHIP ON MY WINDSCREEN!!! noooooooooo!
Finally took my Borris (yes, thats the name of my beautiful LeMans blue sports- Borris the BMW) from Melbourne to Sydney via the Hume. Gone approx 720kms on one tank... u reckon thats good??!! and on my last 40kms, a stupid truck coming from the other direction flicked a stone up and cracked my windscreen. Its about 1cm wide but isnt growing Thank God! But my poor car!! I tell you what though, I had a colour-coded car bra made up for my bimmer and it took so much of the grunt! Bugs, stones and all sorts stuck to the bra - highly recommended guys for long distance driving!!! My front bar is immaculate!!! But no good about my front screen Oh well... cant have all the luck! (lucky I have windscreen cover with RACV!!!)

Ouch, same thing happened to me over Christmas. I am not happy about it, and need to call my dealer to find out how to get a proper windscreen replacement.
Where did you get your car bra btw? Is it a BMW one?

I would expect more than that from the 320 - I get 800ish from a tank in mine on the highway depending on how much overtaking I do. And I have the 6...

LMAO
The only burn out that happens in a Pious is when it goes down a steep hill and the driver's undies catch on fire from all that fearful arse clenching.

nah not yet. its not 'growing' and since its so small and on the passenger side, i ahvent thought too much of it.... but im slowly getting back into work, routine after the 3 week break i had over Xmas/NY. So im sure one day soon, I will wake up and go 'WHAT THE %@#*!' and get it seen to straight away. I will go thru insurance as its no extra charge to go thru RACV as ive got windscreen option.
P/S I am so frustrated!!! With Stage 3 restrictions happending here in Melb, I cant wash my car at home but have to spend yet MORE money at a car wash to clean my own car!! I know im helping the water issue but cant i do that by changing my shower heads, filling up laundry loads before washing, quicker showers etc...and not ban me from washing my car which i take so much pride in!! I drove past the car wash place yesterday and people get horned on and yelled at for taking their own sweet time - i dont want to rush and be forced to clean my car in 89seconds!!!! even though i pay for the time!!! |
