Get your oil changed for free!! (and a dealer horror story)

I know, I know, we all do, but it is only every 15000 miles or two years. If you are like me, and only put 6000 miles a year on your car, you will be glad to hear this. I spoke with two local bmw dealerships to confirm that if it has been a year since your last oil change from them, you can get it for free under a "low mileage" exception or something like that. If you need an oil change and it has been over a year, give your local dealership a call and see how it goes.

Dealer horror story in a differant thread, sorry for the misdirection

That is not when the car says to change it. I'm curious, where is it documented? No one ever told me that. I had to ask.
