Just so everyone knows, there are more updates in the thread titled "Procede Progressive Nitrous control: Dyno and Track testing" No reason to keep two threads on the same topic IMHO.

This is great. Is this the firmware doing the job of the controller? Also, I was think of also doing Meth like most other guys here, will going Nitrous defeat the purpose of installing Meth?
Car is stock, will I be able to run Nitrous safe with the Procede especially since is less than 14psi?

You need to run the meth to fuel the NOS...This is quoted from Shiv about running higher octance gas! If you going to run NOS, first do the meth

"Once the nitrous is released into the engine, it quickly turns into gas and under goes a chemical reaction where the oxygen frees from the nitrogen. The nitrogen acts as a buffer gas to slow down the process as well as to absorb heat. The oxygen gets burned and turns into power. The end result is a more powerful bang and a reduction in intake charge temps through heat robbed from change of state from liquid to gas. This is not to be mistaken for a reduction in cylinder temps which is largely proportional with power output. These temps are high. And can get VERY high (like engine melting high) when nitrous is used for too long (heat builds up) or when not mixed with the correction proportion of fuel. Or when run with insufficient octane or with excessive ignition timing. The margin for safety is also considerably small with only a few things keeping a safe running engine from becoming a broken engine. "

The firmware update will add advanced nitrous control capabilities to the Procede. There is no need for any extra hardware (other than the nitrous kit itself). There is no need to do any board modifications either. No changing "safety" resistors or "enrichment" resistors. The Procede is an engine computer that was designed according to actual engineering principles. It is not a DIY Heath kit.

As for meth, YES, you will have to run it if you want to run nitrous. It is the source of the fuel enrichment that the n2o requires. You cannot combine higher boost (more than stock) with nitrous without having to use meth.

Our meth controller will be as safe as possible given all the data that the Procede can read and how immediately it can respond if something goes wrong. It's great for racing in the 1/4 mile. And it's great when you have already reached the end of your turbo capacity. Short of that, it's not the ideal power enhancer. Definitely not for the shy. But if someone needs that extra power and doesn't want to upgrade turbos, we'll make it safer than any other nitrous control system anywhere on the market.

Thanks for clarifying that. I read the part of using "MS109 fuel" but didn't know you need Meth as well.
Shiv, you think in the near future you'll sell a Meth/Nitrous kit, so all we have to do is buy the tank?
