Will the oval chrome tail pipe found on the e90 LCI 320D fit pre LCI?

i take it u would have to remove the whole back box as opposed to tail pipe only as majority pre LCI's have down facing tail pipes?

also will an E91 back box fit a E90?

I can't answer your question but - I took my pre LCI e90 to an independant exhaust place where they cut the down pipe off and welded on a tip of my choosing for £40.

Contary to the BMW brochure the 'chrome' tail pipe on my post LCI 320D E90 is not chrome. According to my local stealer it has an 'aluminium' finish which the retail price is about £40. BMW do not have a available a chrome tail pipe for the LCI 320D. This has been checked out with Germany, so they tell me.

It appears to be a powder coated type finish and is matt silver colour. Def not chrome!
