Is the Gym a good place to meet girls?

I think the gym is a pretty poor place to meet women. I personally go to the gym to workout, and while the eye candy is nice, I don't know how successful it would be to approach them. I know if a (fine) woman approached me I'd say hello and a few words but I'd need to stop so I can get back to my sets. That happens when I see women I know there and they come say hi.

I get stared down a lot by women at the gym but don't tend to approach them. I'm just there for their eye candy too

the gym is a bad place, IMO. if you have to, my advice is to never approach a girl mid-workout. instead, try and smile at her when she's getting off the machine, or try to leave at the same time and make eye contact and smile or something. if she responds well, take it a step further. this is the least invasive approach and i think girls will appreciate it. you will come off as unique.

i personally have not done this but I think it would work well after going to the gym with beautiful girls for about a year now. i don't even think twice about approaching girls in their own little world with the headphones and ipod and all that junk.
