Catted DP's & New Software Question
Question for anyone out there with catted downpipes that have the new BMW software. I currently own AR's catted DP's and never had my software updated on my 08. The DP's run great and I never had a CEL or any other error codes. Lately I been having long cranks, so I took my car in to get the HPFP check out. The SA told me BMW's new solution is to update the car's software as well as the new 943 fuel pump (something like they use less fuel pressure now).
So here's my dilemma. I've heard that the new BMW software will cause the current catted DP's (non HJS) to throw a CEL. Has anyone used catted downpipes and currently had their DME reflashed with the latest and greatest software? If so, are you experiencing any CEL's or is your car error free? If you do get a CEL, does the BMS o2 sim fix it?

my car is running the latest software with high flow catted downpipes and secondary cat deletes and yes, it's throwing cat efficiency codes. I have procede and still trying to find the optimal settings for them.....

Ah great, not the news I wanted to hear. BMW just updated my software and they didn't mention anything about a CEL, maybe I'll get lucky? Does the BMS or Proceed O2 Sim fix work with catted DP's throwing these codes?
