Question on new Zaino products and Z3..

I was just wondering for Z-3, what's considered "regular paint" as compared to what Z-2 is used for "clear coated car finishes". I was under the impression that all cars are layed with a clear coat, so what is Z-3 supposed to be used for?

Also, received an email from zaino about their new products: Z-AIO, and Z-CS, Z-8. Has anyone used these, and any recommendations? How do they fit into the current lineup ?

I'm assuming it is made for older cars. Many older cars did not come w/ a clear coat. Especially Pre-90's.

Yea that'd be for older cars w/o clearcoats or such. Z2/Z5 for current cars.

The new Zaino products are actually 2, Z-AIO and Z-CS. Z8 isn't new, but Zaino is selling a triple pack that includes it. Z8 offers better shine and protection than their Z6.

As for the other products, check this thread: 2 New Zaino Products!! Z-CS, Z-AIO

Also check their product description and Autopia.org about them.

Z8 would be used after a wash or during/after a Z2/Z5 coat (same way Z6 could, but Z8 is more expensive so I use it in the end and use Z6 in between).
Z-CS can be used instead of Z2/Z5, or with them if you desire, and if you do then you'd do it after the Z2/Z5 coats.

Z-AIO is an All-In-One cleaner, you'd use it to prep the car before using Z2/Z5/Z-CS. But as I said definitely check Autopia for more info, they had people beta testing the stuff and can give you a better idea of where it fits in.

I was just thinking about ordering the pack.. The Z-AIO sounds particularly good to me... However is it just me or does the Z-CS seem to good to be true

Yeah, as said, Z3 is for cars without clear coats.

As for the new peoducts, ZAIO is a Zaino cleaner and sealant in one product, while the CS is a wipe on (no buffing required) pure sealant.

SO then it would be pointless to buy both they AIO and CS correct? SInce the AIO does what the CS does as well as being a cleaner?

From what I understand no. AIO is mostly a cleaner wax, and CS seems more like a top coat wax that's applied after everything. AIO is used to remove the fine dirt and grim that builds up over time, Z2/Z5 doesn't count as a cleaner wax. CS is used for added protection as well as better shine. It doesn't help to remove any existing contaminants.

AIO is more of a cleaner with some sealant protection, while CS is a pure sealant. CS will last longer than AIO and provide more/better protection. With that said, one can not replace the other. Both products server different functions.
