I apologise if this has already been covered. There's been lots of dscussion about the 6FL option, which I unfortunately don't have, but little said about whether playlists are possible with files downloaded via the glove box USB onto the cars internal HDD. I've searched the forum (and internet) but with no luck so far.

I have tried M3U files on the memory stick (both root directory and within sub-directorys), but there doesn't appear to be the option to find them within the i-drive music search (only genre, artist, track etc.). Is the playlist option only available via the centre armrest system (6FL) or am I missing a trick when downloading to the HDD? I did find some info about setting Ipod playlists to come up under the 8 quick link buttons, but renaming my playlists like this didn't work either.
