Keeping colored/painted rims clean

I'm thinking about getting color matched rims (for my AW 335 coupe) for the summer. I'm wondering how much of a PITA it'll be to keep clean. I imagine brake dust will be the biggest problem, but will a good wheel wax appropriately applied keep the rims reasonably clean between washings?

Any input from people with painted wheels would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Pics of the rim, sevas s-22s

The spokes would be white, with a chrome lip. :rocks:

Keeping them waxed helps make cleaning them easier. Nothing really keeps them clean.

Wheel wax won't really do much to keep the rims clean; nothing will. The wheel wax will however make it a lot easier to clean, and keep the brake-dust from baking on.

Thanks for the replies. I'm mainly concerned about the cake-on brake dust...I want to try to keep the rims looking white.

Yah, I'd like to see 19" also, it would be a better balance for weight/handling...seems sevas makes most of their rims 20+ though

And here pics of a different sevas wheel (in 22"), white on white. I'm feeling the look...to each their own, I suppose.
