I notice you're in Melbourne, sounds like your car may have been affected by the recent hail storms. I heard that at least one BMW dealership in Melbourne had damage to their new car stock. They should definitely give you a loaner in the interim.

I waited until I had done 1,500km. Tried it, wasn't bad, but a bit complex to use.
Overall, I am not really sure about DCT for a daily driver, especially in traffic. When you go to do a three point turn, you need to wait that two seconds to go from forward to reverse; with an auto it is nearly instant and manual is as quick as you can do it. I do lots of 3 pointers, so it is a pain. Also, when parking, it has that lag.
What I don't like about it when launching is that you can't really stage it up like you can with a real auto.

just pick up my car, after they fixed the tint.......

only now i hear a strange humming noise from the passenger side firewall. its like an intermitted sound, almost like a beep beep.........silence, then beep beep........
its really annoying----any ideas?
