Hey guys,

Do anyone of you has extended your warranty of car from BMWHK for another 1 or 2 year(s)? Extension price is seem not cheap though,

I have extended the 2nd year on services + 3rd year on services & parts. No more after that.

I would say yes to 2nd year as that's just "incremental" but at the same time one may also says why only parts are covered in the 2nd year.

My personal comment: if you got to know a reliable workshop, you should consider your options outside BMWHK.

Typically what we will need are those oil change and routine checks, so a number of workshops out there should be ok.

Warranty in HK is so short >____<
But in a way I guess it's good, shops and labour is cheaper in HK than in North America, so I guess there's less chance for stealerships to rip you off.

Is it the warranty for new car for 1st year is including everything but 2nd is just included the labour cost but not part?

I didn't bring back the letter with me, but approximately I can only remember the price for additional 1 and 2 year(2) of warranty is about HK$14,400 and HK$2x,xxx, seem a lot =.=.
