If people haven't been to the ring i can highly advise it. I go there once a year on average, and i will never forget the first time i went round - incredible and inspiring!

Yaz skid marks are still there from when he tried to stick us head on into the barrier @ 4:17 just after passing the coach. Check it out.

Out of interest could you share what method or device was used to secure/mount the camera? Hopefully planning a trip to the ring this summer and would love to take some videos like this.

Was 3rd - 6th July last year Carl... I normally go with circuit-days.co.uk... they are excellent organisers and always attract a good mixed crowd of petrol heads.

Thanks... I got my camera mount from Hague, very stable easy to fit and i'd recommend it. (just dont get caught filming) I normally put a baseball cap over the camera as I enter the track....

If you've never done the Nordschliefe than you absolutely have to make the trip and do at least one lap. This year will be my 6th year, its an awesome experience, not just the laps but the drive up, the atmosphere, the laps pmn circuit and the beers after .... This year we are renting Clio 197 F1s for 2 days, i'll get the chance to bugger someone elses tyres this year.
