This is a good deal right, I am not crazy right?
Hey guys. BMW is compensating me for all the issues I have had on my 1 series and I am moving back into a 3. On March 1 I locked a lease rate on an 09 328i demo coupe and BMW is holding the rate for me because of my issues as part of the compensation. here are the details on the car:
2009 328i coupe, demo, 3600 miles. Platinum bronze on black leather and gray wood. a color combo I really like. Sport Premium Cold Weather Logic7 Comfort Access PDC Step with paddles Satellite radio HD Radio Ipod/USB adapter Total MSRP is $48,070 Sale price is $35,270 Lease is this- $2,000 total drive off, $403.87 a month tax INCLUDED, for 36 months, 12,000 miles per year. that is all before the compensation they are giving me. that's an insanely good lease deal on a nearly $50k coupe, right? I am not in a deluded state am I? I am slated to pick up the car monday and not have to pay anything at signing, get tinted windows at cost, and to have my lease disposition fee waived at the end of my lease. I do have to carry the 135i for the last 5 months, but I have ridiculously low payments on that car and the total of them is $1,300. 403.87*35 months is basically what I pay over 3 years. I think a 2010, with the same sticker, at invoice would be high 500s a month with the spring credit. Just want to see if you all think its a good deal too. |

not sure of the compensation they're giving you...
definitely a VERY good deal, not sure on what level.... as it is still a demo 09 (and 11's are already en route) |

yea, true I know the 11s are coming out, but comparing similarly equipped cars and given that I will not keep the car beyond the lease I think it's a good deal. the residual is 57% of sticker less mileage adjustment, which makes it about 55.1%, the 2010s have a 36 month residual of 57% so I think it is pretty good. just wanted to get some other input

so I am trying to decide between this and ordering a 2011 328i coupe in superman colors or a 2011 135i coupe in superman colors for august Euro delivery. I know I will pay more for the other car and get fewer options while doing it. what do you guys think I should do?
