regarding Hid voltage?

Hello I am planning on buying some hid lights for my fog lights. My oem lights I think are 55 watts and I want to know if I should get the hid light 35 watts or 55 watts. I have heard that I should buy them 35 watts.. thats do you guys suggest??

55w = you may run into some issues and it will be stupid bright to the point where the oncoming drivers will flash you unless that's what you're aiming for
