Got the Power Kit software update and...

...the car seems to pull genuinely harder !

My last Mustang dyno showed 252whp while immediately after my initial Power Kit install I got 297whp. This got me alarmed. After this update, it seems the lack of power I have felt lately, is gone.

Of course, maybe it's just in my mind, I will have to hit the dyno again these days...

I guess you need the BMW Performance parts before the upgrade, is that correct?

Yes. I have the new iDrive. I tried:

Press Menu, Hold the knob in front position for 10 secs (also tried hold down for 10 secs), the 3 clicks to the right, 3 clicks to the left, one right, one left, one right then press the knob. Nothing happens.

Update: I have managed to bring up a Service menu (in the Settings menu) but there is nothing about the software version of the ECU.

No, you can read sofware version only on the "secret menu" (the number is 01.06 or 01.07, I'm not sure).
I did the up-date of the PK software last week and I'm very happy: it seems to me (thinly) more torque on low revs and even less turbo-lag!
Previous sw version was: 99.50.C0
Current sw version is: A3.45.C0.
I haven't I-drive so I don't know how to access secret menu with that system
