TPMS
hi guys new to the forum. Had a question about TPMS sensor. I just bought an 2007 e90 and realized I have rubber valve stems. My friend is tellin me that TPMS comes standard and that I should have metal valve stems instead. I went to the dealership and they said the valve stem doesnt matter. Can someone confirm with me where the tpms sensor is actually located? Thanks a bunch.

Metal valve stems means that there is a TPMS (tyre pressure monitor system) inside the wheel that measure pressure.
Rubber valve stems suggests that the pressure is not measured in the wheel but the wheel rotation is monitored instead. nevermind found it ![]() |
