TPMS question - i searched but I have not gotten a clear answer
So i plan on putting my M68's witn sno tires on my 328xi coupe for the remainder of the winter, I am not driving my e46 any more and summer tiries on an AWD car are stupid,
I do not want to spend 200 or more dollars on the TPMS sensors for these wheels, so my questions are: Will these rims work with no sensors,? will the dash light go off if i hit the reset button? When put my stock wheels back on in the summer will the light go away or will i need to go to the dealer? |

1) Assuming they are the correct size, yes they will work (they are a rim with tire).
2) You will not be able to reset the error code since your new rims do not have sensors. The warning will will always return. 3) Once you put the OEM rims back on the car in the spring, re-initialize the TPMS system and you will lose the pesky error message. No need to go to the dealer.
