ISA rubdown extreme? It takes literally 10 minutes. Claying is way more extreme when you think about it; your abrading anything above the clear layer off the paint. Of course clay is a necessary part of car care, but why clay if you don't need to?

SG or PS21
I'm planning to take a few oz. of Klasse SG or PS21 carnauba wax with me and apply it to my E93 immediately after pickup. I see no need to use anything else on new paint. Just trying to apply something to protect the paint during transit to the US.

If it doesn't need claying it will still probably benefit from AIO. You could do a quick AIO to clean the paint, and then apply either SG or the P21S. Or just the AIO as that will give short term protection.

AIO is a paint cleaner with protection. SG is Pure synthetic sealant that is very durable. Made by the same company so that is why you see it mentioned with aio. On a brand new car "I" always use a gentle polish - Polishing WILL improve the way the paint looks even on a brand new car. Plus it will clean the paint and the cleaner the paint the better your protection will adhere to the paint (last longer) |
