Hey guys, Im thinking about taking out a small loan to put in some good mods to my car. I already have a tune, I was wondering what a decent exhaust and rims would cost me. I have a sgm e90

i wouldn't take out a loan because of just modding the car. just not very economical to me. since mod is not the necessary, i would rather just save up and til the time i have enough funds, then i'll do the mod.

But I understand, I ask my girl to help me pay for mods for my car all the time. (she bought the V1 and helped pay for the m-tech rear bumper ) I just try and take it one mod at a time. I wish I were in a better position to spend all my money on the car, but its just not practical. at the end of the day its a car. |

Taking out a loan to mod your car.. did you take a loan to purchase your car also? Like mentioned above you should seriously consider the consequences of losing your warranty. Defaulting on your car payments, losing the car, credit rating sunk, etc.. etc.. all can happen. Clearly that's a nightmare scenario, but just save up for what you want!

If you are considering a loan for mods, this hobby may be a little out of your price range.
Subaru's are less expensive, mods for them tend to be less expensive, and you can get all the performance you can handle out of a WRX. But, I'm partial to Subaru!! Honestly, if you don't have disposable cash for mods, you shouldn't get mods, there is enough performance in a 335i stock as it is.
