The main difference between the two is build style. VMR uses a gravity cast process whereas Alufelgen uses low-pressure cast. Low-pressure cast allows you to achieve the same strength properties at a lighter wheel weight but comes at a slight price premium usually. I really don't know that you can go wrong with either, they're both very well made wheels

Our wheels are also powdercoated. Our CS7 are in special right now and the price is very tempting ![]() |

If you're going with the 19x9.5 rears, I'd go with the Alufelgen CS7. However, if you want the 19x10, I'd go with the VMR VB3 for the concavity. I went with the VMR.

Personally I will wait for Alufelgen comes out with the 19x10 rear this summer (hopefully) before I purchase a set. VMR has the VB3 but the front fitment is not good for me (20/40, either too low or too high), if there's 19x8.5 with the offsets in the range of 27-30 that would be great.

haha thanks. Glad my car can assist you with your decision. I say go with the Alufelgen CS7's, you won't be disappointed. They are strong wheels and achieve the look and feel of the OEM ZCP M3 wheels. People can't tell the difference. The concavity in the rear and the spoke waviness up front is 100% dead on with the OEM ZCP wheels.

the SF-71 looks nicer imo... my guess is that they have similar concavity... can anyone correct me if I'm mistaken?

I just did Alufelgen CS7's with Yokahoma S-Drive tires. I went with the Alu's based upon the mfg.method being stronger and same as BMW OEM method.
Wheels are a great price!! Tires are decent quality at a decent price. |
