Little break in period. Wont notice much of a difference except for sound with the DCI as its not really necessary until your pushing more power.
Get a scanner, SSTTs throw codes. Hope you didn't pay more than $100 for that thing. |

few people are, I had it for a while and liked it a lot. untill I got a jb3, it throws tuner codes so dont take it to the dealer untill you clear them which requires a bt cable. If you have the cash email terry and get a jb3 pnp/bt combo.

As I don't even have my car yet, and haven't done any mod research, are you implying that the JB3 doesn't throw any codes? You can take your car in with the JB3 and unless specifically looking for it, techs won't be any the wiser?

they do, but not near as bad...buy a bavarian technic tool and the JB3(plug and play)...remove it before service and use the cable to clear any possible codes...

For some reason, the SSTT just tends to throw a lot of tuner codes.
The JB+ is a similar TMAP tune that costs a lot less. Can be picked up used for ~$160 on the forums. Tends to throw a lot less codes, if any. |
