5mm Spacers with OE bolts???
Is it safe to run the OE BMW bolts with a 5mm spacer or should I get 5mm longer bolts?

no. like bmdblu said, use longer bolts. spending a little $$ can prevent costly repairs and even significant injury should your wheels fall off during driving

I'd get longer bolts even with 5mm spacers.
