Tire size recommendation on 186 style rims
I've decided to go with Continental Extreme contact DWS now and I've seen some people saying here that alot of people are going one size up, but what can you benefit out of going one size up?
If my OEM is 225/40/18, do I go for 235/40/18? or 235/45/18? How does all this size work? Currently Tirerack only takes orders 225/40/18 size as special order and I believe it would take a while to get it and I'm in need of new front tires ASAP. What would be the best size tires to go with? Thanks. |

Both the 225/40R18 and the 235/40R18 are estimated to be 60-90 days out, but either tire size will fit up front with no problem.
Nearest options would include the Dunlop Sport Signature and Pirelli Nero A/S Tires http://www.tirerack.com/a.jsp?a=AH8&...ires/index.jsp
