I know there are many posts about this but I would prefer to narrow my search for the U.S.

1) What performance upgrades exist for my 335d?? I would prefer them to be relatively easy to install & I can take out prior to bringing car in for service. Basically, I do not want to void warranty.

2) Any suggestions on wheels. Dealer told me they do not think many other wheels will fit on car???? I thought that sounded strange. I looked on tirerack and there are many types of wheels for this d.

3) My car doesnt have bluetooth.... I may go with parrot or BMW version (not sure on cost). Any suggestions?

When comes to wheels options, your car is no different than 335i; cruise over to the wheels&tires forum for some ideas. And yeah, your dealer is full of it.

I haven't found many perf items that are available for the 335d. You can get a diesel tuning box (VAC Motorsports has one which I think is OEM from a UK company called diesel tuning)

I've heard that the 3rd section (muffler) for the exhaust is the same between the 335i and 335d, but have not verified it myself.

I think most of the other bits like suspension is the same as the 335i. Not sure about spring rates though since the car is a bit heavier, my guess is that it has slightly higher spring rates, but that shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Wheels are the same as the 335i.

Can't help you with the bluetooth. Why no premium package? Did you pick up with one of the demo units?
