AR Design 3" DP Ebay Reps. Pay or nay?

Does anyone have any experience with these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-1...Q5fAccessories?

I'm having a tough time ignoring them.. at that price they're almost worth buying just to try them out. What do you guys think?

From what I read they are ex-AR design employees that are making them. Their first production run had fitment issues on 335i's but they fixed that a little while ago.

Thanks for all the feedback guys, I was worried about fitment more than anything else. I too had heard the first batch was a little off, more recent buyers say there are very minor issues: roughly 1.5in short and 2degrees off from mounting flush

1.5 inch short and 2 degrees off is not minor my friend if this is the case...There is literally no margin of error when fabricating two 3 inch piping for such a limited space...I would tread carefully if this is the case from what you have heard and researched about these pipes...I can tell you AR pipes the jigs on them have not changed at all and the fitment is perfect...

Its been resolved regardless. I doubt AR's first set of pipes were perfect.

Justin is the guy who does the welding for BB Fab.

The new pipes have resolved fitment. Those were the initial fitment problems.

I recently had these BB DPs installed on my 1er and am one very happy customer. After much research, the price for the quality was unmatched. Any very early fitting issues have long been resolved.....

Just received them today: the welding is up to par in comparison to the AR Dps I've seen in person. The welds are actually cleaner and more precise than what I've seen in pics of other BBs.

At the end of the day it's not AR quality, and doesn't hold the AR resale value, BUT its still $500 great and will do the job. Props Justin

I'll let you guys know about the fitment
