How much to do a widebody setup?

I was told once it was 2k a side, but that sounds a little high.

2k a side. Maybe. Depends on the extent. Just widening the rear renders? Full actual kit? You'd need to import it from asia.

that sound about right.

you are looking at least $4000-6000 to setup the wide body kit.

Yup... 5K!. It's expensive. I'd rather get m3 skirts, amuse front, and m-tech rear with a crazy diffuser. Then WRAP the car with the leftovers!

What do you mean by wide body? M3 fenders? Just get M3 fenders, front bumper, hood, side skirts. And you got yourself an M3 conversion/widebody. Would cost 5-8k for total conversion.

Yeah, but you'd need M3 fenders to get the Amuse front as there is no amuse replica for non-m. I mean there is D'z but he stopped.

It really all depends on what kit you use and who does the work! Some people who aren't that experienced with it may not be that expensive, but if you take it to the best and you use the best materials, it will be more than 2K a side!!!
I bet paint alone from a reputable company will be close to 2K a side after all the blending and body work, let alone the kit itself. I think the body kit alone will run you close to 1500 - 2000. I think your really looking at about 6-8K when it is all said and done, this is if you use someone that is known for doing this kind of work.

I dont want to do a m3 conversion. Also it doesnt look right when you dont do the rear fenders and I know this to be a fact because I know someone who did it without the fenders and ended up selling the car.

I want to do something like this guy, but stay to fit a 305 tire http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ight=wide+body

after seeing how much work is needed I think im going to wait a little longer until I do this, but this will definitely be done to my car and will probably be my last modification to this car.

Thats no widebody, just some rear flares with tucked wheels all around which looks gross imo.

I think it will cost a shit ton more than 2k a side when its all painted and done to do both quality metal work and custom work on the plastic bumpers.

Plus, thats not wide body. Its just fender flares. There are kits (in Japan I believe) that are full wide body kits. They are crazy.
