Also what happens if I am only putting down 440 lb/ft and I get a clutch rated for 600 or higher? Is there any benifit in that or and detrimental effects?

You'll just have to deal with more pedal pressure. Driveability won't be affected.

If thats all then I would like to have the highest power clutch I can afford, thanks for that.

ACT is pretty inexpensive.
For the record, I've done 4-4.5k rpm launches at the track with 450 wheel torque and the clutch has always stuck like you can't believe.

So I guess my next question is what is the strongest clutch that can use the origional DMF?
