And it will still put your twin turbo BMW to shame for a fraction of the price. To each their own.

you honda guys are missing the point. sure, not all of you are "show car" ricers. yes, a light ass civic can be made to go really fast without alot of power.
if you want that much speed with no refinement, you could just buy a bike for under $10k.. take any car, not just a civic. people only use civics becasue they're small, light, simplistic under the hood, and you can buy one for $500. basically the exact opposite of modern BMW's. strip it to nothing, and put an oversized engine in it, and it can run 11's for under $10 grand. that's all fine and dandy. now lets look at the actual majority of modded honda's out there. ... around here at least, most of them are bone stock enginewise, with an obnoxious exhaust, "pep boys special" 13" spinning hubcaps (buy 1 get 1 free), homemade $20 tints, steering wheel covers, "lookalike" racing seats (seat covers), a crappy stereo system which rattles the entire car.. among other annoyances. not hating on the legitmate honda performance enthusiasts out there, but i'm sorry to inform you that your car company is the symbol of rice in this country. at least that's the way i see it. =( P.S. FWD is still FWD. |

Ricers aren't always Hondas
Sorry this wasn't meant to be a Honda attack. I like Hondas, some of them are fast. I used to own a Type R (it was stolen and the engine was transplanted to a early 90's Civic).
There isn't a 1:1 correlation between Ricers and Hondas. Bimmers can be riced out. My fun is derived from Buzzing ricers, regardless of the marque of their car. But I will say there is a higher coorelationship between Ricing and Hondas than Ricing and Bimmers.... See this video: This guy was picking on a Bimmer: And the aftermath of messing with a Bimmer: =

I like this idea. I may try this in my fathers Yukon Denali.
