oil Temperature
Ive done a few basic searches on here but cannot find a direct answer.
What oil temp does your 335 run at? I noticed mine is around 115C mark on journeys. I do have the oil cooled in the arch if that makes any difference? |

Mine too on a steady run.
As we have a separate oil cooler radiator there's a thermostat valve that probably is set to keep it at around 110degC before allowing flow to the cooler core. This gives a much faster warm up and more consistant oil temp under regaular use. Any car really needs to run the oil at over 100degC to make sure any condensation is boiled out to keep things dry. Give it some beans ona warm day though and it'll soon go over 130/140 |
