Leather Repair
Anyone have experience with repairing sratches in the leather (lemon interior). My jeans left a nice scratch on the the left bolster of the drivers door when jumping in the car. Maybe just using a lemon colour touchup pen or similar or is it best to get it looked at by a leather professional?
Cheers guys |

i have the black leather. had to get drivers seat upholstery replaced under warranty after 18 months due to wear from getting in and out of car. i am more careful now, but still 2 years after the replacement it is looking almost as bad. curious about the quality of leather and whether it is appropriate for these hard side bolsters on the sports seats.

I got mine replaced under warranty, initially only the top section and then at a later date the bottom one as well.
I had the dealers people do a touch-up on the leather section on the door where it was scratched, looks like new and only cost $150 or so. |

Wow.
I get in and out of my car up to a dozen times a day and over 17 months have done 34k. Only real wear is a light wave in the seat base and a gentle polishing of the outer bolsters which reduces when I clean it gently with wool wash. No cracking/splitting/wrinkling etc at all. About to apply some Zaino.

Wear was pretty bad down RHS bolster. Leather had gone all flaky. I suspect it may have been my belt continuously rubbing every time i got in or out. I am not a fat guy, but I find it difficult getting in and out without rubbing down this area.
