E90 325i vs 335i exhaust question...
The big deal is that the 335 is dual exhaust output and the 325i is single output... the question is can you put a 335 exhaust on a 325i?
Can you essentially take the Y-pipe off and convert to dual exhaust? If anything, how much would i be looking at buying bigger exhaust manifolds w/ dual output custom exhaust? (i got a quote from a local garage that w/out the manifolds, it would be about a $3,000 process to dispose of the Y-pipe and run two pipes along the carriage) Would that be a bargain or a rip-off? |

Well, I don't know.. But, I am doing a MD with long and its a quad-tip custom and that costs me 240. So I assume that it is striaght pipes in a way? And although it doesn't have much to do with manifold, it is much cheaper. From this, I'd say its a rip off..

Short answer: No. Both are dual but the 335i is branched out and not grouped together.
Look at how it's set up:
