Brake sensors only covered under new car warranty?
So I was talking to my SA the other day through email regarding the squeaky brakes and most likely it being related to the sensors. He said that it will be only covered under new car warranty and not CPO. Is this true? Also is new car warranty based off the production date or model year? He also said generally cars under 4 yrs and 50k are generally considered under new car warranty, nut I think my car has a production date in early 06, so I think technically I would be out of the new car warranty...

What is the car's in-service date? This is when the new car warranty begins. It takes 30 seconds for the dealer to find out your warranty status with your VIN. If you don't - for some reason - fell comfortable with your dealer looking it up, then call BMWNA Customer Service.
This post will tell what CPO does not cover: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...07&postcount=3
