any good physical therapist or massage? bad accident

So i got into a bad accident on saturday night. I was driving my gf's car (elantra) on i5 northbound by renton. there was some construction going on so 4 lanes turned into 2 and at the merge it was bumper to bumper. We stopped at the final 3 to 2 lane merge and seconds later we were rear ended by an idiot going about 50 mph in his pos 1995 camry. bastard has no insurance. so my gf's insurance is covering the damage and bills for now.

we got away lucky though, no major scratches or bruises. my gf just has a stiff neck, but i have been getting more and more back pains every day. went to the doctors and he told me i need a good physical therapist/massage.

anyways, i'm just happy both my gf and i weren't badly injured. car is totaled, but that can be replaced. any recommendations of a good place in Seattle, north seattle area would be great!

thanks, but as far as insurance, do you know how it would work if the guy who rear ended up did not have insurance? the agent for my gf's car said they'd cover it on their end and then go after the non insured, but how do i "milk" the insurance?

Take advantage of the chiropractor and go to every appointment and even more.. You usually get compensation for your "troubles and pain" but I'm not sure how it works if the other guy doesn't have insurance.. Last time someone rear ended me, I got 4k from the insurance settlement, along with free chiropractic massage and medical fees (x-rays, physician visits).

Her insurance will cover everything and her rate WILL NOT go up because it was not her fault. Keep seeing the doctor and go get massages done and sooner or later they will offer you a settlement.

Andrew, glad to hear you & your gf are ok. I know how it feels to be rear ended. I got rear-ended twice in the same week a couple of winters ago in Eastern Washington. There are just too many inattentive drivers out there.

As far as insurance is concerned, my understanding is if your gf's car has the underinsured motorist (UIM) and underinsured motorist property damage, that should cover any proprety damage and bodily injury that was incurred to both of you. Or I think the PIP (personal injury protection) also covers medical expenses, depending whether your gf opted for PIP or not. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong).

You can also sue the guy who rear ended you I think lol.

Anyway, I hope you get better soon. We have a meet coming up don't we? Wouldn't want to miss that.

I am currently being seen at Alliance Chiropractic after I got hit by a semi truck which totaled my S2k. The clinic is right by Dicks Burger in Seattle. The Chiro and Massage Therapists are really nice.
