Hi guys,

Just got an email from Hamann that my side skirts will be flown to my home city here in Charlotte NC. this Saturday. Gave me the flight number and time and that's about it.

I understand I will have to go thru customs there. With all the group buys and products ordered from overseas, I figured some of you have already experienced this process. I don't have a clue how this should work though. I mean do I go and meet the plane? Does the airport call me at home and says its waiting for me? Am I going to have to pay money when i get there (taxes/fees). I know my wire transfer to hamann covered shipping.

didn't you get Bill of landing from hamann?
When you pick it up from the airport, you will need this in order to do custom.
check with hamann urgently!

Not sure, I did get an invoice before I sent the wire transfer, which was the basis of the order. Has an invoice number, price and shipping charges. What information would be on the Bill of landing. If it is suppose to show the flight info, etc. Then no, I don't have one.

Update, I emailed Hamann and they sent me some more paperwork via .pdf. Including what looks to be the bill of laden (written partially in German). Should be set. They have actually been very plesasnt to deal with and responsive. Not bad when I am only an individual.

Still not sure if the airport calls me or do I arrive at the airport like I was picking up a passenger or something. Will they even see me over the weekend. I hope so cause I fly out early Monday morning for 11 days straight for work. Hate for it to sit there that long.
