Question re: lowering E90 ride height...
Hey all, I am sure this has been addressed at some point here, so I apologize if this is redundant, but I have searched for about 30 minutes and I can't seem to find a precise answer to my question.
Can anyone tell me if I can lower an E90 with the sport package with springs only, without sacrificing ride quality or handling? Or do I need to get a completely new set of springs/shocks or coilovers? Just to be clear, I don't want to slam the thing, I just want to lower it by about 1". Thanks in advance. |

eibach pro kit springs will lower it conservatively but you cannot change the ride height with just springs and retain all factory handling characteristics.

I'm lowered on Eibach Pro-Kit springs with OEM Sport shocks, I wanted a very conservative drop. The ride is definitely stiffer and harsher, but you'll get used to it. My wife, on the other hand, absolutely hates it.
I think what you're looking for in terms of height and ride quality might be an Eibach springs/Koni FSD combo. |
