Valentine 1 Hardwire Help...really hope someone can give me a quick answer...

I have been reading DIY's on how to do this using the fusebox method. I ordered another Hardwire kit (I hooked up my E46 using the wire tap method above the map lights) and hooked up the ground to the Torx screw to the side. What am I supposed to do with the RED wire that has a bluish connector on the end. It looks like a fuse is supposed to go in there but it wont stay. I can take pics if this is unclear.

Please help!

uh take a pic. the red wire from V1 has an inline fuse, just connect it to your power source. If connecting to the fuse box, tap it into there, or if you are tapping a wire, tap it onto that power wire

The bluish connector was made to be slid on the the wire tap that comes with the it. If doing the fusebox method cut the blue connector off strip the red wire and crimp it on to the fuse tap.

there are clips right behinbd the reading lights, that hang around the headliner, so you need to get a thin spatula or something of that sort, and stick it in kind of slanted to get it behind the clips. do not be afraind to move the headliner slightly, it goes back in place. but be careful not to bend the clips too much, because i did and now my dome fixture is loose.
