My dad was 65 yesterday....

....and look what my brother and I hired him for the day, as a present. He did his apprenticeship on the E type and owned 3 of them, back in the day;

He says it was the best present and birthday he'd ever had, especially as it was a surprise, and we did the handover at the Goodwood Breakfast Club, where it was on display

Now THAT is an original gift if I ever saw one! Nicely done, he was probably happy as can be!

It was a great moment, we have it all on video, he had tears in his eyes. I couldn't ask for a better dad, we go to lots of car shows etc together.

Yup, 9 till 6. My dad says that was more than enough. he covered approx 120 miles, went out for a nice lunch with mum, and we had a barbie at his, and he ended up taking everyone up the road in it - Cost him £60 in fuel - Now that's respect, approx 11MPG!
