Anybody considering the 335is + pricing info!

Just wanna know if they are some people here in Canada who are considering the 335is as the next car.

Base 58800
Navi 2000
Exec. Pack 3900
Metalic Paint 800
DCT 1950

A brand new M3 will run you at least 10K more with DCT!

Be safe!

where did you get that price from?
Only the e93 is available on the BMW Canada website and that one starts from $74,300 which is ridiculous since it's more than an M3!!

Allesandro is right with the pricing. I have a coupe on order. An identically spec'ed M3 would have been $16K+ more than the IS, once you include taxes, freight, and PDI. M3 is not a daily driver in my opinion with huge service costs post warranty. so I went for the IS.

Overpriced? Its a matter of whether you want it or not. If you don't want to pay, you don't get one. If you want one you gotta shell out the $.

Is a Rolex worth the money they charge? I don't think so... thus I don't buy one. Is the IS? Obviously, otherwise it wouldn't be on order. Simple.

No use debating unless you are actually in the market.

Nice choice why didnt you go with NAV as well?

Did you finance, lease or cash. If lease what is the residual?

Thanks

If my choice is to be a Bimmer the toss up will be between a 335iS Cab and a Z4 35iS. The Z4 seems to be of better value if you don't need a back seat. With adaptive M suspension and DCT come standard, it is as close to a Z4M as you can get minus an LSD.

BRAISKI - you must have been pricing an IS vert vs. M3 Coupe. Not a valid comparo.

Cash.

Don't need nav in Calgary - I didn't even want the Executive package but that was the only way to get audiophile in 2011. Nav is likely a good buy with the M3 for I-drive but didn't feel it necessary for my purposes.

I'm sort of scratching my head about the IS. First, its quite expensive. Second, how much longer before the E92 is going to be replaced by the F? If its within the next 2 years, then I really don't get the reasoning for buying this car.

Yes thats why I put e93. I guess its not but just the thought of the price being the same as the M3.

You seem to put the M3 at an extraordinarily high bar.

You realize that BMW charges a $15k premium just for that folding hard roof alone. Check out the pricing for a 328 e92 vs e93, 335 e92 to e93.

I'm not saying either is better, but I agree with Tyler, it depends on the market you're in, but pricing makes sense imo.

You appear to be in Toronto. You mind if I ask which dealer? Also interested but the quote I have in front of me is nowhere near your price!

Thanks.
