whatever they say as the price it will be well worth it.

this car is so much more alive, and sounds mean. Ive got the "is that an m3?" question twice since i got it done on saturday lol
How many maps will it have?

2 maps that are stored on the OBD2 tool, but you can have unlimited on your computer and swap them with the supplied USB cable

so 2 maps for on the go, and unlimited from computer to OBD2 so you can load certain maps for whatever you plan on doing

so how would this be installed? you said you get your own tool and what not... but after I take the pbx out, would i then connect this puppy to the ECU wires? or what? I am a bit confused on that.

and does the tool come with two preloaded on it? or does it need to be installed on a computer, then onto the tool, then the car?

and how do you switch maps? would you have to go back under the hood or do it from the pedal?

Once you take out the PBX, there is no reason to open the hood again.

it will come loaded to your specs automatically, and then the other map packs will be downloadable to your computer.

its basically a USB drive for your car, with a button on it that says 1 or 2 (maps obviously)

if you get in the dirver seat, and look down by your left leg (usa) there is a little panel that says OBD2 on it, just above the hood pop latch.

It plugs into that port, the same way a USB goes in a computer, when the light turns from red to green - your set.

take the tool out of the OBD2 plug and throw it in the glovebox. its the simplest tuning possible for these cars. true plug and play lol

The PBX won't go out of style - there will still be a market for it: people who will not pay the cash for the uberPBX (whatever the price may be) will be happy with the PBX. For ~$300 it's hard to beat and I would imagine it will stay that way for some time. It's all conjecture at this point, but I'd bet that's the business plan they'll go with.

A stage 1 & stage 2 style setup, i like, i like. Just hope there's a way to build on to the PBX, as well.
