Lightbulb White or Yellow Lights FTW ?

Which Lights do you prefer on your Beemer ? - Brite white LED's or the OEM's .

I have changed my halo's to LED's and think they look fantastic - they match in much better with the Xenon's .

White LED's look better than the yellow'ish bulbs IMO but the ones I have are not as bright as the bulbs and cause some FM interference

Managed to reduce it by fitting some inductor chokes around the wires to the LED's but not eliminated completely.

I am eagerly awaiting someone to verify that the LCi halo's bulbs will workl with our older style headlight units and original wiring as these are both very bright and very white

I'm suprised that someone hasn't tried yet tbh!!

Personally, I think the OEM incandescent bulbs look the best, the "white" just seems a little tacky to me..

Lil kids on the forums started using it few years ago, ppl who use them also use terms/abbreviations like :

-epic
-ftl = non win
-owned/pwned ...gamer thing
-fail = most annoying imo, often accompanied with a photo referring to something that went unsuccessful.
-wheels + car = sex ...wtf does that even mean???

They wont work

I spent over 2 hours at the dealership today. We were trying to see if the new bulbs will work - yes they do because they are pretty much the same bulb....but when we put the LCI bulb in to mine - it was yellow!! The rings on the new headlights use that normal yellowish bulb, but they have LED inside too and some sort of module. It will never work!! Unless one day someone makes a retrofit kit....

So annoyin!! today there was an LCI outside at the dealership with the rings on and WOW they were really amazingly bright!!! Looks sooooooooo good!!!

That's shit news Wafik was hoping there would be an OEM type solution - well done for being the first to invest some time and try and get the 'problem' sorted.

I reckon that would have been a huge Sytner group buy had it worked!

Sorry to break it to you...Told them i know many people who would be interested! Its a real shame, was so let down aswell!!

Do you think there will be some sort of kit/retrofit coming? I think the only alternative to get the same daylight brightness is a HID kit?
