Looking to leave Z4 to 3 Series
Hi guys, love the support and enthusiam here for BMW's and i share the same.
I bought a used 2005 Z4 about 15 months ago for $22K and rolled $3K Negitive Equity from a Previous auto that was giving me alot of problems and purchased an extended maintenance plan and such for the Z4. With fees and such i owed $28K, which i got down to $23K now. ( i didnt realize i had good enough credit for a new car and the BMW rate of 0.9 or 2.9 - so i got stuck with 11.9 interest and havent really dented my overall balance. About 3 months into the car, i realized the Z4 is TOO SMALL for me, and since its a MT car, i have to be very very close to reach the pedals for clutch, and my right leg is very cramped, and as the months went on, ive developed re-occuring severe right leg pain and slight joint dislocatement. Im still upside down on my loan i know this, and i know the -right- thing to do is stay in it and pay it down and off, but i am miserable being so cramped and in pain over extended driving sessions. Instead of buying a beater car to drive and let the Z4 just sit around, i was hoping if taking atvantage of a new demo or retired service loaner would be an option? I qualified for BMW's new car rate of either 0.9 or 2.9 APR, and im saving up for a sizable downpayment to go with a potential deal, but i hope to find a car out there with a nice chunk reduced for being a loaner , put my downpayment with it and take atvantage of a better interest rate. Is this a possibility, or am i out of options? Thanks so much for reading. |

Yeah.. I expect to lose money but would i be losing any more money than i am right now? Plus to get this added stress off my leg.
Would it make more sense to re-finace or go for a demo? |

If it's bothering your leg just get rid of it . Also that 11.9 % is ridiculous ...go for a demo or an 09 leftover..although demos/loaners are beat on

OP, is there really nothing you can do to adjust your seating position to be comfortable? I find that hard to believe. |
