Direct wiring Radar detector

How do you do it on our cars? Ive got the passport X8500. I want to install it to where I do not need a cigarette lighter adapter anymore. Can someone help me out with this? also where to buy the parts needed....

Check the dIY section, theres a write up for it. Use the sunroof control module, its pretty simple.

wiring to the fuse box is a lot more effective the the sunroof wire. You dont want to damage your wiring. esp on an BMW. They are known for having electrical issues.
