K&N Air filter

If so are there any implications with usng oil covered filters?

Or anything else I should know before going ahead and buying one.

I will be fitting it myself when I do my brakes.

I put one in my 330i with no problems - doesn't make much difference to performance or sound, but glad I've done it. Read the thread...

Grumbles - I've bought one now... was the filter pre-oiled or is it something that you have to do prior to install?

Also was your MAF damaged? or did it just give a amber warning light with no repercussions?

They come in a bag pre-oiled.
