HELP....failure in electronic system?
hey everybody im kinda new on posting on the forums i usally jsut creep aronud
but lately well the past 3 nites ive encountered some serious issues with my car i was wondering if nebody else has or can shine some light on wats goin on..... the the problem is intermittent...i wud be driving along perfectly fine casual everything good and then the traction control light wud flash and then the e brake and the tire light... and this wud all be yellow and then it wud stay on and notife me that the traction control wit the exclamtion mark...and i looked at the manual and it says electronic system failure? and 2day the car shut off for a breif second the hids turned off the gauges turned off and so i pulled over and parked the car and shut it off tried to take the key out but it was kinda just stuck there and nothin was werking as if my battery had died?...it was werid and then i kinda slammed the door because i was pissed and the lights turned back on? and the car started again indicating that my "electronic system has failed" so i dorve again planning to go to the dealership 2morrow first thing and then it jsut went away again liek the notification went away i dont kno wat it could be though...;the only mods ive done to the car have been lowering it with h&r sport springs, gettin mtec fogs, and a system please somebody shine somelght on this so my dealership dunt think im stupid... |

That's some serious stuff going on there with your car. Take it to the
dealer ASAP. Do not pass go, do not collect $200. Last time I had this, I ended up with a fried ECU among other things on my E36. The problem was that I was doing 80mph on the fast lane in an English highway, the car wouldn't respond to the throttle, the revs started going down, all sorts of warnings started flashing, the car shut off and me doing around 60mph in the fast lane with a dead car. Quite scary. And you really don't want to experience those kind of issues on a highway so take your car to the dealer. |
