E92 M3 trackday tyre pressures.......!?

Heading off to The RING, this week...

So what are people running as trackday tyre pressures...?

OH, and its an Edtion M3 so running Continental tyres..!

Depends how quick you are round the 'Ring - the quicker you are, the more loading you're putting on the tyres so you'll need to adjust the pressures to suit. I'd suggest you start off with 38psi front, 40psi rear and see how that goes. If you're quick around there, after a couple of laps you should check the pressures - they'd probably be up to around 41/44, in which case you'll need to let 1-2 psi out

pressure really depends on the tire as well. I'm driving 29psi in the back, 34 in front (both warm) with dunlop direzza 03G.
start with tony's suggestion and as tires heat up fast when tracking,make sure you correct the pressure after a lap or two. (and don't forget to ad some air when the tire cooled down) After that it is "butt-feeling".
