pam spray

i just got new wheels and i just heard the weirdest thing. has anyone ever used pam cooking spray on thier chrome wheels? im guessing its used for protecting the wheels but im not sure can anyone answer this question for me

Haha! I'm sure w/e effect it has would only be momentarily cosmetic, followed by some waxy feeling and dust attraction...

Use QuickDetail spray if you want to add some gloss....

you can also power coat your wheels with some soy sauce btw...

Have you ever seen the nasty sludge that PAM leave behind when it gets warm and isn't soaked up with pancakes? Yeah, I'd not put it on my wheels. Wheel wax is cheap enough.

I'd bet whoever said this meant as a solvent, not a sealant. It's just aerosol vegetable oil, so it should work at least passably where you might also use WD-40 as a cleaner.
