are 245s front, 285s rear really pushing it?

thinking about getting some new wheels...

19x8.5 et30
19x10 et37

was thinking 245/35/19, 285/30/19 as opposed to 235/35/19, 275/30/19...

car is lowered, but not on kill...not sure how close i'd be cutting it w/ those preferred tire sizes...

i am currently running with loads of room to spare, it seems...
18x8 et32 (235s)
18x9 et35 (265s)

I would have said you could try on a E90 (has slightly more clearance in the rear vs. E92) but I wouldn't given your wheels width. If you had 8.5" or 9" inch fronts and a 10" inch rear I believe you could pull it off. My .02 cents!

i was stating the wheels pictured are 18x8, 18x9 (et32, et35) and i feel like i have room to spare.

If you're lowered, 285 will def rub, you'll need to roll fenders at the very least...not 100% sure you'll clear even after that

8.5 +30 fronts with 245's will cut it very close... I would be careful of damaging the plastic fenders. You'll probably want to add some camber.

10 +37 rears with 285's will definitely have some issues without rolled fenders. Even with rolled fenders and lowered height, some slight camber may need adjusting.

OP, has an e90, so no plastic fenders.
But, yes ET30 with 245 might rub if riding low. And the rears will need a slight rolling too.

Here is a car running 19x8.5 +30 / 19x10 +37

The front has the room for a 245 if you keep your car at the ride height that you are at.

The rear is running a 275.30.19 so going 10mm wider and 1/4" taller is not far fetched, not sure why people make it seem like it's impossible

And yea, don't worry about your fenders, they are not plastic on the E90's...Also E90's have a LOT more room than E92's and we sell 19x10 +37 with 275.30.19 all day long without customers having rubbing issues, so your E90 shouldn't be a big problem

It may need a slight roll, but I don't even think it will need that with the 19x10 +37

+1

On a 8.5 inch wheel I would do 245 in the front.
